Central Bank Center/Rupp Arena is home to top-quality concerts and entertainment in downtown Lexington. During its recent renovation, the facility implemented new sustainability features targeting LEED certification. They successfully obtained Silver certification from the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program, administered by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC).

Innovation
- Employs all mobile ticketing for events and all electronic filing system to reduce paper waste.
- Donates banners from events to be raffled off for charity.
- Has worked with back-of-house catering to offer more sustainable choices for tours.
- Makes temporary signage in-house and reuses whenever possible.
